Halo Cake by Tami Chitwood

This cake was made for my nephew's 14th birthday in September of 2010. He received the new Halo Reach game for his birthday so I made the cake as a character from the game, Noble 6. This is my 3rd sculpted cake and I've been making cakes since August of 2010 and am loving it. I've taken a beginner buttercream decorating class and am self-taught when it comes to fondant and sculpting. The torso and head are strawberry cake and the shoulders are rice cereal and it's all covered in fondant and hand painted.
